How much does a model make?

In the United States, a model’s pay can depend on the kind of assignment and client, local demand, and how many hours or bookings are available; work is often part-time and irregular. Experience and skill can also matter, and agencies take a share of earnings but may bring models more assignments.

What's a typical day like?

A model may work in a studio or at a fashion show, coordinating with photographers, stylists, makeup artists, and clients before posing in clothes or with products. Between bookings, they update a portfolio or meet agents and clients.
